North Oak Ambulatory Surgery Center:


In 1991, North Oak Ambulatory Surgery Center became the first established, State Licensed Outpatient Ambulatory Surgery Center in Lowndes County.

This facility offers a private onsite surgery suite for the convenience of our patients. Our surgical suite and equipment are all state of the art.

North Oak Ambulatory Surgical Center is accredited by the Accreditation Association For Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC). In May 2002, our facility received the highest accreditation available. The AAAHC Certificate of Accreditation has become a benchmark of quality not only to those involved in health care and delivery management, but to the general public. The accreditation certificate is a symbol to others that an organization is committed to providing high quality care and that it has demonstrated its commitment by measuring up to AAAHC’s highest standards. Accreditation is a voluntary process through which an Ambulatory Health Care organization is able to measure the quality of it services and performance against nationally recognized standards. Any accredited facility must meet these standards and be resurveyed every three years to maintain accreditation status.

Take I-75 South to exit 22. Turn right at the top of ramp (whether traveling north or south) onto 41 south, also known as NORTH VALDOSTA ROAD. Continue on North Valdosta Road or 41 South until the road splits (near Winn Dixie) stay in the left hand lane and continue on Ashley Street. Then turn right on Northside Drive (Blockbuster Video is on the right). Go to the 2nd traffic light and turn left on North Oak Street. Our office is the 5th building on the right. Valdosta Middle School is across the street from our office.

Take Highway 133 to Valdosta (approx. 40 miles). Go across I-75 and turn left at the traffic light at Gornto Road (Taco Bell is on the corner). Continue on Gornto Road until it dead ends (approximately 3 miles) and turn left on North Oak Street. Go approximately two blocks and our office (Valdosta Podiatry Associates) will be on the left (across from Valdosta Middle School).
